2007 Superlite Rules

1) Classes

All engine configurations have an engine capacity tolerance of 5%

One class combining:

2 Stroke: 105cc (110.25cc maximum)

4 Stroke: 150cc single cylinder & 150cc Twin Cylinder (157.5cc maximum)

The class is divided into 2 grades: Pro & Amateur. Grades are decided by the BRA committee

2) Frames

Frames shall be from homologated, non-competition, Road or Trail machines only. Frames shall be twin shock design only (ie: No single shock frames to be used).

Frames currently homologated are as follows:

Bridgestone: 90/100

Honda CB 100/125/175 K,J,S,N,T; XL 100/125/175/185, SL 100/125, H 100, MT 125, CT 100/125/185.

Homologation requests can be submitted to the BRA committee for consideration.

2a) Frame Modifications

Only minor modifications may be made to the frame to allow the fitment of seat, triple clamps (steering dampers), shock mount positions, or fuel tanks. The addition of bracing and removal of unnecessary brackets is permitted. No restrictions on the use of swing arms. Frame must remain in the original configuration and only twin shock frames to be used. (i.e. no single shock frames permitted).

The decision as to whether a modification is to be regarded as minor is to be determined be the BRA committee. Persons are directed to contact the BRA committee to seek a determination as to whether a modification is eligible.

3) Forks

Forks must be no larger than 33mm in diameter.

4) Engines

Heads, Barrels & Crankcases shall be from homologated non-competition Road or Trail machines only. The following are currently homologated:
