More news News Page 1 News Page 2 30/08/2011Eastern Creek Round 3The third round of the Bucket championships at Eastern Creek produced some great racing. The weather obliged with a dry cool overcast day. A few riders came to grief, Suzii Stevens came down after tangling with Flapper and Tyler Bradford high sided on turn 9. Both riders are a bit bruised and sporting a limp but they will be at the Bucket Nationals now only a fortnight away. The new Commuterlite class had 8 bikes on the grid with several newcomers acquitting themselves well producing some exciting racing.

The King is Back!
King Kenny wins 2011 Superlite Pro Championship
Above: #2 Ken Lindsay leads the pack. After a terrific battle with #69 Ian Gregory over the five races at Broadford Ken took the Championship with a 2 points advantage. #76 Adam Muldoon snared the Superlite AM Champion from Walter Murphy.

The Bucket Nationals and One hour Enduro provided excellent racing on a beautiful Spring weekend.

Motolite Winners Paul Borg and Jason Dunn

After five years of trying to win the Motolite One Hour Enduro #93 Paul Borg finally landed the big one with co-rider Jason Dunn (Honda RS85cr).
They were pushed all the way by both young Michael Lockhart and Mitch Levy with some sensational riding on their #66 Moriwaki 80.
Paul also won the cycletorque Motolite Bucket Nationals on the previous day making it a fine double for the weekend.

Superlite Winners Carlyle Bennett and Shane Wilcox
In the Superlite Class #81 Carlyle Bennett got the temperamental H100 to go the distance after being so close the past 2 years. This time his partner was Shane Wilcox with Lindsay McKay doing a brilliant job to keep the 2 stroke motoring.
Lyall was in scintillating form on the weekend also taking out the cycletorque Superlite Bucket Nationals trophy.

Commuterlite Winners Ron Carrick and Chad Slade
The First Cycle Torque Commuterlite One Hour Race was won by the hard riding #74 Ron Carrick/Chad Slade team (Honda CBR125) finishing in an incredible 6th place overall.

Rules Section. But if you want to buy one ready made see the Links page and in particular The Australian Road Racing forum. Otherwise contact a committee member and see if they know of any bikes for sale.
Anyway, browse around this site and check us out. If you are interested in racing either contact anyone on the
Club Committee or come along to one of the meetings on the Race Calendar, check out the racing and introduce yourself.
